Israel Launches Attack On Gaza Strip Over Hamas’ Refusal For Ceasefire.

By Ferdinand Olise

Israel attacked terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip, on Tuesday. This is as Hamas has repeatedly refused to release 59 Hostages, as well as its rejection of all of the proposals it has received from US Special Envoy to the Mideast Envoy, Steve Witkoff, and from the mediators.

The Israeli Embassy in Abuja in a statement on Tuesday, said that Israel is operating with full force against the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip, and that they have reached this situation after Hamas repeatedly refused proposals to extend the ceasefire, and release the Israeli hostages.

According to the statement, Hamas rejected two concrete mediation proposals presented by the United States President’s Envoy, Steve Witkoff. Israel agreed to these mediation proposals, but Hamas refused them.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Michael Freeman said, the IDF is striking Hanmas terorist targets across the Gaza Strip, aiming to achieve the war’s objectives, which include the release of all Israeli hostages, the dismantling of Hamas’s military and government infrastructure, and the removal of the terrorist threat from Gaza to Israel’s security, and its citizens.

Ambassador Freeman states that Israel will not allow the Hamas’ terrorist regime to control the Gaza Strip and continue to terrorize Israelis and Palestinians alike.
“The Hamas leadership have stated clearly that they want to carry out further massacres of Israeli
citizens – just as they did on October 7th 2023, and Israel will act as any country would, to defend its citizens.
Hamas can end this conflict immediately by releasing the hostages it has held for 529 days and lay down their arms.” He stated

Meanwhile, the Israeli actions are taken in coordination with the United Sates.
