Iran Receives Condolence Messages Over Massive Explosion.

Many countries across the globe have expressed condolences to the government and people of Iran over a deadly explosion on Saturday at iran’s key port that claimed at least 28 lives and over 800 persons injured.
The blast took place at Shahid Rajaee, the country’s largest commercial port, near the southern city of Bandar Abbas on Saturday morning.
It blew out windows and roofs of nearby buildings and destroyed cars. Residents reported feeling the impact of the blast up to 50km (31 miles) away. Six people remain unaccounted for, state according to media reports.
The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesman, Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa on Sunday sympathised with Iran over the sad incident. “Nigeria stands in solidarity with Iran during this difficult times and shares in the grief of the families who lost their loved ones in the unfortunate incident” he said.
The Polish Government also sent words of empathy through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “We were deeply saddened to learn of the explosion in the port of Bandar Abbas, Iran. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wish a swift recovery to those injured. In these difficult times, our thoughts are with the people of Iran”, the statement said.
“The Government of Sri Lanka is deeply saddened by the loss of life resulting from the explosion on 26th April at the Shahid Rajaee Port, Iran. We convey condolences to the families of the bereaved and wish a speedy recovery to those injured”, was the message from Sri Lankan government.
