Cuban Ambassador To Nigeria, Morales Visits Foreign Affairs Minister, Tuggar.

The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, received in audience the Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Mrs. Miriam Morales on Thursday, 8th May 2025. The meeting discussed strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and Cuba.

Nigeria and Cuba have enjoyed a long-standing diplomatic relationship, marking 50 years of formal ties established in 1974. Both countries are committed to deepening their cooperation in areas of common interest, particularly in trade and commerce. The Nigerian government has expressed its intention to advance these relations further.

Ambassador Morales has participated in many significant events in Nigeria since her assumption of duties as Ambassador, showcasing her involvement in promoting cultural and historical ties between Cuba and Nigeria.

As part of the Cuban Diplomatic mission, Ambassador Morales works to strengthen cooperation between Cuba and Nigeria in various areas, including culture, trade, and potentially other fields of mutual interest.
