Zambian President Signs Condolence Book In Lusaka.

The President of the Republic of Zambia, His Excellency, Hakainde Hichilema has signed the book of condolence in honour of former Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari at the Nigerian High Commission in Lusaka, Zambia. He was received by the Chargé d’Affaires, Mrs. Chinyere A. Epelle, and officers in the Mission.

In a 3-paragraph condolence message, President Hichilema on behalf of the government and people of Zambia extended deepest sympathies to the government and people of Nigeria and the family of the late President. He described Buhari as a principled and dedicated leader whose legacy will be remembered in Africa and beyond.

The Zambian leader was accompanied by the host Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Mulambo Haimbe, the Permanent Secretary (International Relations and Cooperation), H. E. Mrs. Etambuyu Gundersen and the Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H. E. Mrs. Cheswa Silwizya.
