US to Supply Ukraine With Intelligence for Long-range Missile Strikes.

The United States plans to provide Ukraine with intelligence for long-range missile strikes against Russian energy targets.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that US President Donald Trump gave his administration permission to resume military intelligence support to Kiev.

In March, Trump had ordered a suspension of sharing intelligence with Ukraine in a major blow to Kiev.

Trump suspended Washington’s intelligence support to Kiev amid tensions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky over a proposed peace deal with Russia. Attempts to reach a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia have failed till now.

Recently, Trump changed his mind and told US officials to resume the supply of military intelligence to help Kiev to strike Russian energy infrastructure deep in the Kremlin’s territory.

“After seeing the Economic trouble (the war) is causing Russia, I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form,” Trump wrote on Truth Social last Tuesday.

Also, Trump said after meeting with Zelensky that he is considering sending more weapons to Ukraine that could put more Russian targets within reach.

On Sunday, US Vice President JD Vance said the White House was reviewing a request by Ukraine for long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles and that Trump would be making “the final determination” on the issue.

Officials said the US is also considering providing Ukraine with other American-made missiles with ranges of around 500 miles (804 kilometers), though no decision has been made.

The US president is reportedly pushing Washington’s NATO allies to provide similar support to Kiev.
