China And Nigeria Hold Talks To Deepen Mutual Cooperation.

The Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Yu Dunhai, and the Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu, have held bilateral talks concerning the development of the China-Nigeria Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and agreed to further deepen practical cooperation across various fields for the mutual benefit of the two countries.

The Chinese Ambassador who had an audience with President Tinubu in Abuja on Friday, 5th December, 2025, said, through the joint efforts of both sides, China-Nigeria relations have entered a “fast track.

He noted that the two countries have consistently understood and supported each other on issues concerning core interests, and China supports Nigeria’s efforts in combating terrorism.

According to Dunhai, China stands ready to work closely with Nigeria to accelerate the implementation of the zero-tariff policy for Nigerian exports, strengthen the alignment of development strategies, consolidate strategic mutual trust, and elevate bilateral relations to a new height.
