African Union (AU)Commission Chair, Receives Letters of Credence from Ambassador of Switzerland, Chanda.

His Excellency, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, on Monday, 17th November, 2025, received the Letters of Credence of H.E. Ms. Riccarda Chanda, Ambassador of Switzerland to Ethiopia & Permanent Representative to the AU.
The Chairperson commended Switzerland’s diplomacy & commitment to multilateralism, noting the constructive partnership that continues to strengthen cooperation with the AU.
Ambassador Chanda congratulated the Chairperson on his election & expressed appreciation for the long-standing and fruitful collaboration between Switzerland and the AU. She further applauded the Commission’s leadership in advancing regional peace, security, and sustainable development.
