Canada High Commission Closes Office To Public Till Further Notice.

The Canadian High Commission in Abuja has announced closure of their office to the public till further notice.
Making the announcement public on the Embassy’s X-handle on Saturday it said “Commission’s operations and Consular and immigration services will continue to be provided”.
This development may not have been connected with the fire that gutted part of the Embassy in Abuja, early this month in which two Embassy staff died and several others hospitalised with severe burns.
The Federal Capital Territory Fire Service in a statement confirmed that a diesel tank explosion in the generator house at the Embassy was responsible for the fire.
