ECOWAS Felicitates Sénégal On Her 65th Independence Anniversary.

The President of the ECOWAS Commission, Dr. Omar Alieu Touray, has felicitated Republic of Sénégal as the country marks it’s 65th Independence Anniversary.
Dr Touray extended his congratulations to the Senegalese President, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, and the people of Senegal on the Anniversary.

While commending Senegal for its longstanding role as a key member of the Economic Community of West African States, (ECOWAS), Dr Touray said the country plays a vital role in fostering stability and growth within the ECOWAS region.
According to him, the strong and enduring relationship between ECOWAS and Senegal has been pivotal in advancing their shared goals for peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.
“Senegal has consistently been a leader in regional security, economic cooperation, and democratic values, and it is with great pride that we recognise these efforts” Dr. Touray said.
He reaffirmed the ECOWAS Commission’s commitment for continuous collaboration with Senegal to enhance regional integration and development.
He also extended his wishes on behalf of the leadership of the ECOWAS Commission, for continuous success, peace, and prosperity of Senegal.
