German Embassy In Nigeria Underscores Significant Growth With Nigeria.

The Chargé d’Affaires, German Embassy in Nigeria, Mr. Johannes Lehne, has described Nigeria as a strategic partner of the German government.

Speaking in Abuja, Mr. Lehne said trade relations between both countries have witnessed significant growth. He expressed optimism that such progress would continue, yielding mutual benefits.

On the importance of strong media relations in fostering bilateral cooperation, and promoting mutual understanding between the two nations, Mr Lehne said, Nigeria is rich in diversity and potentiality.

“The media plays a vital role in shaping perception and facilitating dialogue. Strengthening our ties with Nigerian media is key to enhancing Germany-Nigeria relations,” he said.

Also, the newly appointed Press Counsellor in the Embassy, Mr. Felix Haala, emphasised that, establishing strong, trustworthy partnership is essential for promoting credible and responsible Journalism.

Meanwhile, the Political Affairs Officer in the Embassy, Ms. Lorena Mohr, underscored the critical role in the success of the German mission in Nigeria.
