Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah, a Ghanaian toddler, has made waves in the art world by becoming the youngest male painter officially recognized by Guinness World Records on Thursday.
At just one year and 152 days old, Ace-Liam’s artistic talent has captured the attention of art enthusiasts worldwide.
His mother, Chantelle Kuukua Eghan, herself an artist for eight years, spoke proudly of her son’s innate understanding of colors and artistic composition.
According to her, she first noticed his talent at the tender age of six months, marveling at his ability to discern complementary colors.
Ace-Liam’s journey to this recognition was marked by an exhibition at the Museum of Science and Technology in Accra, where his works were displayed and sold to the public.
Notably, he sold nine out of the ten pieces exhibited and even received a commission from the First Lady of Ghana, Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
Describing Ace-Liam’s artistic style as reminiscent of Jackson Pollock’s vibrant and spontaneous work, Chantelle hopes her son will continue to grow and make a mark in the art world; emphasizing the importance of nurturing children’s talents from an early age and envisions a bright future for Ace-Liam in the international art scene.
With his own studio ready to inspire his next masterpiece, Ace-Liam’s artistic journey promises to be one filled with creativity and innovation.
