Kanye West Facing Lawsuit Alleging Sexual Harassment and Breach of Contract.

Kanye West, known now as Ye, is facing legal trouble as former assistant Lauren Pisciotta has filed a lawsuit against him, alleging sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination. According to reports from US media outlets, Pisciotta claims that West sent her lewd texts, performed sexual acts while on the phone with her, and failed to pay her a promised severance package of $3 million (£2.4 million) after she was fired in 2022.
Pisciotta’s lawsuit, which was first reported by TMZ and later confirmed by Rolling Stone, The Wrap, and US Weekly, alleges that she initially met West while supporting herself through an OnlyFans profile in 2021. She was then hired to work on West’s Yeezy women’s fashion line and collaborated on tracks for his Donda album. Subsequently, Pisciotta was employed as West’s personal assistant with an annual salary of $1 million (£780,000) under the condition of being available “24-7”.
The lawsuit further claims that West initially allowed Pisciotta to continue her OnlyFans business but later demanded she delete her account, offering an additional $1 million in exchange. After complying, Pisciotta alleges she was bombarded with explicit messages from West and subjected to inappropriate behavior, including him masturbating while speaking to her on the phone and exposing himself to her in person.
Additionally, Pisciotta asserts that she was promoted to Chief of Staff for West’s various companies around September 2022 but was abruptly fired soon after, without receiving her promised severance package. In addition to the allegations of sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination, Pisciotta is suing West and his Yeezy businesses for fraud, unpaid wages, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
This isn’t the first time West has faced accusations of inappropriate behavior. Last November, multiple employees of his Yeezy fashion line alleged that he played pornographic films during staff meetings and showed intimate photographs of his then-wife Kim Kardashian during job interviews. West has not responded to these allegations or the current lawsuit.
In the past, West has spoken about his struggles with pornography addiction, describing it as a significant influence on his life since childhood. Despite these controversies, West’s music career has seen success, with recent chart-topping hits like “Carnival” and his album “Vultures.” However, his reputation has been marred by legal battles and controversies in recent years.
