MATO Congratulates Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, Amb. Sola Iji on Ambassadorial Postings, Appreciates President Tinubu.

The leading Senatorial Aspirant for Ondo South Senatorial District and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Matthew Oye Oyerinmade popularly known as MATO has congratulated Senator Jimoh Ibrahim and Ambassador Sola Iji on their ambassadorial postings by President Bola Tinubu.

In a statement personally signed by him and made available to journalists on Friday, Oyerinmade described the nominations of the two distinguished sons of Ondo State as a recognition of their leadership qualities, diplomatic capacity, and commitment to national service.

According to him, the appointment of Senator Ibrahim as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations is a major milestone that will further strengthen the country’s voice in global affairs.

“Senator Jimoh Ibrahim’s appointment is well deserved. As a seasoned leader and diplomat, he possesses the experience and vision required to promote Nigeria’s interests and deepen its engagement with the international community,” he said.

Oyerinmade also congratulated Barrister Iji on his posting as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Russia, expressing confidence that his expertise and diplomatic skills would help strengthen bilateral relations between both countries.

He noted that the appointment of Iji would create new opportunities for economic cooperation, cultural exchange, and strategic partnership between Nigeria and Russia.

The APC chieftain further wished both envoys success in their new assignments, expressing optimism that their service would contribute significantly to Nigeria’s growth and development on the global stage.

Hon. Oyerinmade thanked President Bola Tinubu for the recognition accorded these illustrious sons of Ondo State, as this will encourage other party leaders to continue to support and work harder for the APC with assurances that, such efforts will not be in vain.
