Nigerian becomes first African to be appointed Chief Medical Doctor in Canada
Nigerian-born Canadian, Prof. Adam Abba-Aji became the first African to be appointed the Chief Medical Doctor of the Prestigious Alberta Hospital Canada in its 99-year history. Prof Adam graduated from the University of Maiduguri in Borno Nigeria with MBBS.
He obtained his MBBS from the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Canada; Fellow Royal College of Psychiatry, UK; Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, United Kingdom.
