Nigerian Envoy Receives UN Under Secretary, Gregorian In Addis Ababa.
On 26th January 2023, H.E. Victor A. Adeleke, Permanent Representative of Nigeria to Ethiopia and the African Union received in audience Mr Raffi Gregorian, Director and Deputy Under Secretary General of the United Nations Office of Counter Terrorism and his delegation, who are on a working visit to Ethiopia. Discussions during the meeting centered around activities of UNOCT in supporting Member States to prevent and counter violent extremism, including its capacity building programmes and projects in Africa.
They also discussed the proposed Counter-Terrorism summit slated for October 2023 in Abuja, Nigeria.
