NTAC DG Buba Yakub, Hails Gbajabiamila on 63rd Birthday, Describes Him as a Selfless Leader.

The Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has extolled the virtues of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Chief of Staff and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, describing him as a selfless leader and patriotic statesman who has served Nigeria with distinction for over two decades.
In a statement personally signed by Yakub and made available to the media through his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Nkem Anyata-Lafia, the NTAC DG offered heartfelt birthday wishes to Gbajabiamila, who turned 63 on Wednesday. He praised the former Speaker for his enduring impact on Nigeria’s democratic development and legislative excellence.
“Rt. Hon. Gbajabiamila is a man of deep wisdom, unwavering dedication, and inspiring humility. His leadership style and contributions to national development, both in and out of the legislature, have earned him the admiration and prayers of many Nigerians,” Yakub said.
Although currently on official duty outside Nigeria, the NTAC DG expressed his goodwill through a poetic and prayerful message, describing Gbajabiamila as a mentor, leader, and guiding light to many. He prayed for divine guidance, strength, and continued success for the Chief of Staff in his current role and beyond.
“As you mark another year today, I pray the Almighty continues to bless your efforts, grant you good health, and surround you with loyal allies as you serve our nation and the world,” Yakub added.
Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, who served under Gbajabiamila during the 8th and 9th National Assembly sessions, noted their strong working relationship and mutual respect. Gbajabiamila served as Majority Leader in the 8th Assembly and Speaker of the 9th Assembly, roles in which he earned accolades for legislative reforms and effective leadership.
Femi Gbajabiamila, currently serving as Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, is a distinguished lawyer and politician, widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s most accomplished lawmakers. His 63rd birthday has drawn tributes from colleagues, mentees, and admirers across the country.
