The Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has congratulated Comrade Mustapha Salihu, the Northeast Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on his recent call to the Nigerian Bar, describing him as a “man of deep intellect and great wisdom.”
In a personally signed congratulatory message issued in Abuja, the NTAC boss praised Salihu’s relentless pursuit of academic excellence, saying his achievement serves as a source of inspiration to young Nigerians and a testament to the values of hard work and intellectual growth.
“I feel most excited to rejoice with you, members of your family, our Senatorial Zone, and indeed, the good and great people of Adamawa State, for the laudable completion of your Law Degree programme and your participation in the well-deserved Call-to-Bar exercise,” Buba wrote.
He described Salihu’s educational milestone as “a quality icing on the cake of a brilliant academic sojourn spanning many years already replete with outstanding laurels in diverse fields of learning and professionalism.”
Buba also noted that in an era where materialism appears to have overtaken intellectual pursuits, Comrade Salihu’s accomplishment stands as a beacon of hope and a model for young people.
“In a nation like ours, where academic laurels are unfortunately being pushed to the back burner in favour of material lucre, our youth need people like you as veritable sources of inspiration,” he said.
The NTAC DG emphasized that education remains key to breaking the cycle of poverty and urged young Nigerians to emulate leaders like Salihu, who invest in lifelong learning for the betterment of society.
“I, therefore, congratulate you as an inspiring beacon of academic excellence, a complete leadership figure, and a man of outstanding wisdom and letters,” Buba added.
He concluded by pledging, on behalf of his family and the entire management and staff of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps, his heartfelt congratulations to Comrade Salihu, expressing optimism that a day of celebration would be organized in recognition of his academic feat.
Comrade Mustapha Salihu was among the latest batch of lawyers called to the Nigerian Bar at the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, Abuja.
