President Biden’s Dog, Commander, Bites Secret Service Officer Again.

In yet another unfortunate incident, Commander, President Biden’s loyal German shepherd, has once again bitten a member of the Secret Service, marking the 11th time such an event has occurred either at the White House or the Biden family’s residence.

This latest occurrence transpired on Monday night, prompting the Secret Service to issue a statement on Tuesday confirming the incident. The injured officer received immediate medical attention while on the premises.

Anthony Guglielmi, the spokesperson for the Secret Service, provided details about the incident, stating, “Yesterday, around 8 pm, a Secret Service Uniformed Division police officer had an encounter with one of the First Family’s pets and was bitten.”

The ongoing pattern of such incidents involving Commander has raised concerns about the safety of personnel working at the White House. The White House Press Secretary had previously attributed the dog’s aggressive behavior to the stress associated with living in the White House environment.

Thankfully, none of the injuries resulting from Commander’s bites have been categorized as serious. In addition to Commander, Major, the other canine companion of the Biden family, has also been involved in multiple biting incidents with Secret Service agents. Major, however, has since been relocated and now resides with close friends of the Biden family.

Commander initially became part of the White House family in 2021 as a puppy, a heartfelt gift from President Biden’s brother, James.
