Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, Dr. Sami Al-Saleh presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Morocco to HM King Mohammed VI at the Royal Palace in Rabat on Thursday, 15th May, 2025.

Morocco and Saudi Arabia have a strong and strategic diplomatic relationship based on shared historical, cultural, and religious ties. Both countries are Muslim-majority nations with significant geopolitical influence in their respective regions.

Saudi Arabia is one of Morocco’s largest investors, with significant investments in sectors like Saudi Aramco has invested in Morocco’s energy sector Morocco and Saudi Arabia cooperate in the phosphate industry.

Morocco and Saudi Arabia promote cultural exchange, including educational and religious programmes.

High-level visits between the two countries have strengthened their bilateral relations, with Moroccan and Saudi leaders exchanging visits and signing cooperation agreements.
