Two Israeli Diplomats Die In Terrorist Attack In Washington.

The Israel Embassy in Washington has expressed shock over the brutal killing of their Embassy staff by suspected terrorist. According to as statement by the Embassy issued on Thursday, “We are shocked and horrified this morning by the news of the brutal terrorist attack that claimed the lives of two of our Embassy staff members in Washington — Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim. May their memory be a blessing. We embrace the grieving families during this painful time and will continue to support them always”.
” Israeli diplomats and representatives around the world stand on the frontlines of Israel’s diplomatic efforts — defending the country with their very lives. We will not be deterred by terror. We will continue our mission across the globe, with unwavering commitment to represent Israel with pride”, the statement added.

Meanwhile, at the Israeli Embassy in the United Kingdom, also issued a Condolence Message to the families of the fallen Diplomats, with the flag flying at half mast. The terrorist shouted “Free, Free Palestine” after being detained for his attack outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington DC. “Our thoughts are with their family and loved ones, and with our colleagues in Washington”.
Officials are continuing their investigation into the man now charged with shooting two people who worked at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., as they left an event at a Jewish museum. Court documents made public say Elias Rodriguez, 31, told police, “I did it for Palestine, I did it for Gaza,” after opening fire in the nation’s capital.
The city’s top prosecutor joined the FBI and leaders from around the world in denouncing the killings as a targeted, antisemitic hate crime and an act of terrorism. Officials with the bureau say investigators are looking at Rodriguez’s whereabouts in the hours leading up to the shooting as well as his online activity, alluding to antisemitic and far-right posts purported to have been authored by the suspect.
The victims were identified as Yaron Lischinsky, 30, and Sarah Milgrim, 26, a couple dedicated to pursuing peace in the Middle East. Lischinsky had planned to propose in a matter of days.
