The Director-General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has called on Nigerians to embrace unity and support President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasizing its role in repositioning the country for lasting progress.

In a press statement released in Abuja on Thursday, NTAC’s Head of Information/PR, Mrs. Ojo Adetoun Olubunmi, highlighted the DG’s message, stressing the importance of inclusivity and interfaith harmony in fostering national development.

Speaking at a special Ramadan Iftar he hosted on Monday for NTAC staff and select stakeholders, Buba noted that Nigerians have every reason to remain hopeful, citing the developmental strides made by Tinubu’s administration in under two years.

“The Holy Month of Ramadan is a time for reflection, sacrifice, and compassion for the less privileged. We must continue to uphold unity and teamwork, both in our workplace and across the country, to achieve NTAC’s core mandate and build the Nigeria of our dreams,” Buba stated.

The event, organized to commemorate Ramadan and engage citizens on NTAC’s contributions to Nigeria’s foreign policy, also aimed at strengthening ties among staff, stakeholders, and Nigerians across religious lines.

The well-attended gathering featured Ambassadors, officials from various agencies and departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NTAC staff, and other key stakeholders. The informal setting allowed for team bonding and discussions beyond regular office engagements, fostering a warm and collaborative atmosphere.

Among those who commended the initiative was NTAC’s Director of Administration, Amb. Yakubu Abdullahi Ahmed. He praised the event for rejuvenating the workforce and showcasing NTAC’s global impact under Tinubu’s administration.

“This event not only strengthens our team spirit but also offers a platform to highlight the remarkable strides of the Tinubu administration through NTAC’s foreign policy engagements,” Ahmed said.

The statement concluded by reaffirming NTAC’s commitment to fostering national and international cooperation in line with the administration’s vision.
