Russian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Koslov Received By Saudi Deputy Minister in Riyadh.

Deputy Minister for Political Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, on 31st December, 2024 , received Mr. Sergey Kozlov, Ambassador of Russia to Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, to discuss matters of mutual concern.

Ambassador Sergey Kozlov Graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR in 1978.

He has been on the employment of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1995.

Between 2002 and 2005 he was Minister-Counsellor in the Embassy of Russia in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2005 – 2008 , he was appointed Head of the section of the Middle East and North Africa Department of the MFA (Moscow).

2008 – 2010 – Head of the Representative Office of the Russian Federation to the Palestinian National Authority.

2010 – 2013 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Yemen.

2013 – February 2017 – Deputy Head of the Middle East and North Africa Department of the MFA (Moscow).

Since February 2017 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
