Saudi Arabia Commits $13 Million To Assist Gaza Civilians.

The government of Saudi Arabia has pledged an additional $13 million in aid to support civilians in Gaza. This generous contribution comes from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) and was revealed on Thursday.
King Salman of Saudi Arabia and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman are personally spearheading this humanitarian initiative, providing the funding themselves. KSRelief, established in 2015, collaborates closely with various United Nations (UN) organizations and extends its humanitarian reach to nearly 100 countries.
This timely financial support from Saudi Arabia arrives amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has, in parallel, issued a pressing appeal for emergency financial assistance, totaling $300 million.
The international community continues to watch the situation in the region closely, with hopes of alleviating the suffering and addressing the urgent needs of those affected by the conflict.
