Barack Obama the 44th President of America has won the best narrator Emmy Award for his Netflix documentary series ‘Our Great National Parks’, becoming the second President to win an Emmy. The five-part show, which features national parks from around the globe is produced by Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s production company, “Higher Grounds”.
Barack Obama previously won Grammy Awards for audio versions of his books ‘The Audacity of Hope’ and ‘Dreams from My Father’. Michelle Obama won her own Grammy for reading her audiobook in 2020.
Dwight D. Eisenhower was the first American president to receive a special Emmy Award in 1956.
