WATAF Honours Dr Touray For Outstanding Leadership, Regional Economic Contributions.

The West African Tax Administrations Forum, (WATAF), has honoured the President of the the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, Commission, Dr. Omar Alieu Touray for his visionary leadership and positive contributions in the region.

The ECOWAS Commission in a statement today, said Dr Touray was honoured in recognition of his visionary leadership and outstanding contributions to regional economic integration and development across West Africa.

The Commission stated that the recognition further highlighted the growing collaboration between ECOWAS and WATAF in strengthening taxation and customs systems.

The Commission added that this also includes enhancing domestic revenue mobilization, advancing sustainable economic growth, fiscal transparency, and regional prosperity across the ECOWAS region.
